Larry Allen Barden, 84, of LaSalle, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at the North Colorado Medical Center.

He was born on April 2, 1935 in Greeley to Edwin W. and Wilma A. (Cardwell) Barden.

Larry graduated from Pierce High School in 1953. On September 15, 1954, he married Marilyn Rasmussen in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Mr. Barden was a past member of the Pierce United Methodist Church, the Century Masonic Lodge in Greeley and the Eastern Star. He loved fishing, hunting, trapping, bowling and spending time with his family.

He is survived by son, Rodney (Tami McClung) Barden of Eagle Rock, Missouri, by daughter, Suzette (Lupe) Chacon of Gilcrest, 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn Barden, son Roger Barden, parents Edwin and Wilma Barden and infant grandson Brandon Barden.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans. A funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2019 also at the Moser Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to American Diabetes Association and Alzheimer’s Association in care of Moser Funeral Service.
