Lawrence Lee Oyler, 59 of Evans, Colorado, passed away on June 2, 2019. He was born to Lawrence D. and Donna L. (Loos) Oyler on September 27, 1959 in Denver, Colorado.
Larry attended and graduated from Greeley Central High School in 1977. He was married to the love of his life, Lori Kennedy.
Larry was employed in the hospitality field in Greeley and Evans, Colorado for many years. Larry was past Chairman of the Weld County chapter of Ducks Unlimited and past president of the Weld chapter of the Colorado Restaurant Association.
Larry, through The New Plantation restaurant, along with his brother Jeff, organized many poker charity runs and chili cook offs, etc., to raise money that provided services for others in need, i.e., quadriplegics, accident survivors, terminally ill patients and annual Christmas toy runs for needy children over the past 31 years.
Survivors include his mother, Donna Oyler, brothers, Jeff (Tamy) Oyler and Kristopher (Kim) Oyler, stepson, Barry Buie; nephews, Joshua and Elijah Oyler; a niece, Mya Oyler; an aunt, Karon Hatler and numerous second cousins.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence D. Oyler.
A Celebration of Life will be from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the Greeley V.F.W., Post 2121, 2514 7th Avenue in Garden City.
