LaShonte McReynolds Smith, born on April 11, 1977, in Denver, Colorado, passed away on April 23, 2025. She left this world far too soon, but not without leaving a lasting imprint on everyone who was blessed to know her.
A woman of remarkable intellect and creativity, she earned her degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Nebraska. She had a gift for making people feel seen, heard, and cared for, whether it was through a heartfelt conversation, a home-cooked dish, or simply her welcoming smile.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Betty Woodson. She is survived by her adoring husband, Leonard; her treasured son, Micah, who was the light of her life; her father, Curtis McReynolds; and her loving stepmother, Deborah. She was also blessed to have Gail and Elton Johnson in her life, who loved and cared for her like a daughter.
