Lee K. Sakurai, 59 of Evans, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the North Colorado Medical Center.

He was born on July 26, 1959 in Greeley, Colorado to Paul and Mitzi (Yunoki) Sakurai. He attended Greeley West High School and graduated with the class of 1977.

Lee owned and operated a trucking business for 38 years. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mitzi Sakurai and his sister, Jana Sakurai.

Services will begin with a visitation from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans. A funeral service to celebrate Lee’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 6th at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Linn Grove Cemetery.
