Leon Barry Martinez, 69, of Greeley, was risen to life on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at North Colorado Medical Center.

He was born September 6, 1950 in Pueblo, Colorado to Joe & Opal (Martinez) Gonsalez. He obtained his GED and went to work at what he enjoyed doing best, supervisor at NCTC In Greeley, Co. for many years. He was well known respectful man who had many friends who Loved him and will be missed by. Leon was a firm believer in his Lord and savior Jesus Christ and baptized long before his passing.

He is survived by, his sons, Leon and John Molinar of Greeley, a daughter, Tessa Davis Martinez, of Greeley, his brothers, Richard & Gene Martinez of Pueblo, Colorado, and a sister, Margie Martinez ofCalifornia, and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lupita Molinar, 2 sisters, Nena Martinez of Kansas, and Lucy Cruz of Greeley, and 2 brothers, Charlie Martinez of Greeley and Oris Martinez of Pueblo.

A private family visitation will be held For immediate children, brothers/sisters, and dearest Friends. Family of Leon will celebrate new life with him on a later date, to allow those who haven’t had there chance to come to the private viewing, due to covid-19 and risk factors.
