Obituary

Alice Lillian Gooch, 82 of Briggsdale, Colorado, passed away July 10, 2018 at the Golden Peaks Care Center in Ft. Collins.

Lillian was born to Jess Coleman and Alice Mabel (Cook) Gooch on November 28, 1935 in Briggsdale.

For over 40 years she ran the Briggsdale Café and the Crow Valley Café. She was well known for her famous hamburgers, cheeseburgers and krautburgers. People would come from all over the United States just to enjoy one of her burgers.

Survivors include her brother, Henry Harold Gooch of Grover, Colorado; three children, Debbie Bymer, Duane (Aleta) Gooch and Sandy (Jerry) Warner all of Briggsdale; 6 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Mabel Gooch and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Speaker.

A Celebration of Lillian’s Life will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Briggsdale Fire Station, 95 Milton Street in Briggsdale. A lunch will be served during the celebration.
