Obituary

Linda May Denner (Rachet), 70, of Platteville, passed away Friday, February 28, 2020 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.

She was born May 22, 1949 to Troy & Florence (Payton) Lawson in Denver Colorado. She was a graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School in Denver, Colorado in 1968. On November 7, 1987, she married Delbert Gene Denner in Brighton, Colorado. She resided in Platteville since 1979.

Linda worked at Pride Oil Field Services & T.D. Oil Field Services for many years as a secretary. Linda also worked many years at the Platteville V.F.W. Post 6011. She was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary for many years. Linda had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and was raised Baptist.

Survivors include her husband, Delbert Denner, her daughters, Dena Charles & Darice Janway, her sisters, Marla Crow, Julie Koch, Joyce Benton, Bonnie LeCavalier and Pam Hill, her brothers, Terry & Teddy Lawson, her grandchildren, Ryin & Nathan Charles, Jessie Stoll, Troy Grajeda, Shalisia Cavillo, Jarod Janway, Brittney Gonzales, and Tony Gonzales, 4 great grandchildren, Eliana Antuna, Aaliyah Tyree, Kiana & Aubriana Cavillo, 33 nieces and nephews and 30 + great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy & Florence Lawson, brothers, Ronnie & Denny Lawson, and a sister, Darlene Jones.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the Greeley V.F.W. Post 2121, 2514 7th Avenue in Greeley. Per family’s request, please bring a covered dish and/or drinks.
