Obituary

Lindsey Mockerman, 20 of Platteville, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013 as the result of an auto accident. She was born on October 7, 1993 in Boulder, Colorado to Wesley Mockerman and Amy Beal. Lindsey graduated from Valley High School in 2012 where she played softball and won 2 state championships. Lindsey loved God and also loved horses. At the time of her passing she was in her second year at the University of Minnesota – Crookston where she was studying Equine Science. Lindsey was a loving person who touched the lives of many with a smile on her face and kind words for everyone. Survived by her mother, Amy Beal of California; her father, Wes Mockerman of Platteville; 2 sisters, Amber Maus of Longmont and Kailey Mockerman of Texas; her grandmothers, Fantina Stephenson of California and Lorraine Mockerman of Colorado Springs; a niece, Morgan Maus of Longmont and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A memorial service and Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 29, 2013 at the Northern Colorado Cowboy Church, 33131 U. S. Highway 85 in Lucerne. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Colorado Horse Rescue.
