Lola Adell Clark
June 9, 1932 – September 27, 2017
Lola Adell Clark, 85, of Evans, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017 in Greeley after a diagnosis of melanoma in April 2016 and then metastatic melanoma in November 2016.
Lola was born June 9, 1932 in Hill City, KS to Oscar and Elizabeth (Denny) Ruppe. She married Stanley Donald Clark on September 23, 1948 in Raton, NM. They resided on a farm west of Gilcrest until moving to Evans in 1977.
She was a farmer’s wife, former Avon Representative, and retired from food services at Greeley West District 6.
Lola was a member of the United Methodist Church in Evans for 18 years.
She is survived by her sons, Steven Clark and Michael (Cathy) Clark both of Windsor; grandson, Shawn Clark of Severance; granddaughters, Michele (Dan) Mares of Windsor, Melissa (Wrex) Wright of Severance; great-grandchildren, Breanna Clark, Averi and Maiya Wright.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Sheryl Lynnette in 1960; husband, Donald Clark in 2010; parents and ten siblings.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017 at Evans United Methodist Church. Private family inurnment at Mizpah Cemetery in Platteville.
