Lucrecia Torres, 92 of Greeley passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at her home. She was born on November 20, 1920 in El Valle De Topia, Durango, Mexico to Ramona Rodriguez and Leonardo Torres. Mamá Quecha vivió una vida plena y tocó muchos corazones con canciónes, sonrisas, y bendiciones. She married Jose Rodriquez Velazques in 1940 in San Bernardo, Durango, Mexico. She has lived in Greeley since moving here in 1998 from Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Survivors include her sons, Pedro Rodriguez of Las Vegas, Nevada, Abel Rodriguez of Brighton, Colorado, Concepcion Rodriguez of Evans, Gabriel Rodriguez of Greeley, Jose I. Rodriguez of El Paso, Texas, Antonio Rodriguez of Greeley, Jose T. Rodriguez of El Paso, Texas, Jorge A. Rodriguez of Loveland, Colorado and Abel E. Rodriguez of Greeley; her daughters, Florencia Valdez of Greeley, Tina Vargas of Evans, Felipa Rodriguez of LaSalle, Colorado, Libby Treinen and Martha Nores both of Greeley and Manuela Rodriguez of Juarez, Mexico; 2 sisters, Librada Estrada of Austin, Texas and Seferina Torres of Juarez, Mexico; 37 grandchildren, 78 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren and her sons and daughters in law. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Rodriguez. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25th at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 26th at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 1311 3rd Street in Greeley. Interment will follow at the Evans Cemetery.
