Lyle Leon Worley, 84, of Greeley, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at his home.
He was born April 3, 1929 to Orville E. and Bertha M. (Baxter) Worley in Stockville, Nebraska. Lyle lived for most of his life in the Greeley area. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. On September 4, 1954 he married Dolores Meyer in Eaton, Colorado.
Lyle worked construction for many years for Hensel Phelps and the St.Vrain Power Plant. In his later years, he raised livestock including chickens and loved being with his grandchildren. He was quick to help those around him.
He is survived by his sons: Leon, Matt, and Lloyd Worley, his sisters, Rena Wright and Genevieve Swank, 5 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Bertha Worley, his wife Dolores Worley, and 12 brothers & sisters.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
