Lyonel Albert Kinnison, 93, of Greeley, CO, died in his home on November 7, 2022. He was born on July 11, 1929, in Greeley, CO to Albert and Olinda Kinnison.

He married Betty Ferrell on September 10, 1947, and shared three children: Lynnette, Richard, and Randall. They divorced after 25 years. He married Analee Gardner on June 30, 1979. They shared many years together until she passed. Lyonel married Winona Lorance on November 8, 2014.

Lyonel was active for 12 years in boy scouts serving as a Cubmaster. He attended Sherwood Park Baptist Church, the Greeley Elks Club, and IBEW Local #1490. He began his work career reading meters for Home, Light, and Power and retired at 57 years old as the manager of the meter/billing department with Public Service. He enjoyed golfing, playing pool, and fixing anything in sight.

He is survived by his wife, Winona Lorance-Kinnison of Greeley, daughter Lynnette Bristow of LaPine, OR, son Richard Kinnison of Colorado Springs, CO, and Randall Kinnison of Beaverton, OR. Stepchildren Julie Matt, Jane Davis, Jennifer Olsen, Dick Gardner, Connie Lorance, and Doug Lorance; eight grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by Analee Gardner-Kinnison, his parents, sister Ardyce Ernst, and grandson, Carlos Kinnison.

The memorial service is at 2:00 p.m. on November 11, 2022, at Sherwood Park Baptist Church, 3333 W. 16th St, Greeley, CO. Memorial gifts may be given to the Weld County Food Bank or your favorite charity.
