Madelyn Elaine Case's Obituary
Madelyn Elaine Case was born September 23, 1933, in Taylorville, Illinois and passed away July 15, 2022, in Greeley, Colorado.
Madelyn graduated from Illinois State Normal University (today, Illinois State University) in 1955 with a degree in music education. She taught school at Mooseheart, Illinois and in Salem, Oregon and then for eleven years she taught Air Force dependents in Europe including Crete and Bahrain. Madelyn later received her PhD in psychology from the University of Illinois. She then taught at Northern Colorado University and was certified as a clinical psychologist which she practiced until her retirement.
Madelyn enjoyed the outdoors. Hiking, skiing, cycling, the mountains, and spending time with her friends and family.
Madelyn is survived by daughter, Anne Ljungvall (Eric); grandson, Jason Ljungvall; brothers, Don (Marian) and Jim; and nephews, Scott and Jeff (Shelly).
