Margaret (Mick) Jean Chrismen, of Greeley, passed away April 27, 2014 at Bonell Good Samaritan Center in Greeley. She was 87 years old. She was born Jan. 12, 1927 to Lloyd and Wanda (Kreman) Chrismen in Crawford, Nebraska. Mick went to school at No# 50 a one room school house in Sioux County, Nebraska. She lived in Nebraska until 1948 when the family moved to Lusk, Wyoming. In 1961 the family moved to Greeley, Colorado where she took care of her parents until their passing. She worked for Carl and Mary Reinhardt and many others cleaning homes and offices. Mick enjoyed watching her favorite soaps and taking care of her beloved cats. She loved all animals great and small. She was an expert horsewoman who always rode Indian style(bareback) on her favorite horse Gunney. Mick always liked to help family and friends when she could. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Her surviors are her sisters Betty Arner, lleen Tulk; nieces Lynn Kiefer and Diane and Laurie Tulk; many great nieces and nephew and her good friends Patricia Venn and Freida Meyer. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers-in-law Ed Amer and Jim Tulk and nephew George Tulk as well as her beloved kitty Marty (Babo), and many Uncles and Aunts. Per her wishes no services will be held. Donations in her memory can be made to The Humane Society of Weld County.
