Obituary

Margot Brewer, 63 of Greeley, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, May 26, 2011. She was born on December 1, 1947 in Peoria, Illinois to Donald and Dorothy (White) McIntyre. Margot graduated from Dunlap High School in Dunlap, Illinois. She later married James Brewer on June 30, 1967 in Peoria, Illinois. Mrs. Brewer worked at the First National Bank of Johnstown from 1978 until 1984. She later worked at the University of Northern Colorado from 1985 until her retirement in 2004. She attended Timberline Church in Ft. Collins and she enjoyed stamping, ceramics, scrapbooking and crocheting. Survivors include her husband James Brewer; her son, Shane Brewer of Windsor, Colorado; her daughter and her husband, Shannon and Douglas McCasland of Ault, Colorado; 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandson; her mother, Dorothy McIntyre of Longmont, Colorado; a sister and her husband, Donna and Cris Arellano of Greeley; a brother and his wife, David and Nancy McIntyre of Longmont, Colorado; 2 nieces and 3 nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Donald McIntyre. A funeral service to celebrate Margot's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at the Timberline Church, 2908 S. Timberline Road in Ft. Collins with a reception following. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Foothills Gardens of Memory in Longmont, Colorado. Memorial gifts may be made to: U COUNT Campaign, an anti human trafficking campaign which works to bring new life to girls and women rescued out of the sex trafficking trade.
