Marilyn Gayle Pickett, 62, of Evans, Colorado died on Sunday, March 11, 2007 at the Hospice & Palliative Care of Northern Colorado Inpatient Unit in Greeley, Colorado. Marilyn was born on February 11, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri to Charles H. and Margaret F. (Agin) Jacobs. She grew up in Independence, Missouri. She has lived in Evans, Colorado since May of 2002. Ms. Pickett worked as a claims representative for the Social Security Administration in both Kansas City and in Greeley. She enjoyed singing, quilting, beading, sewing, crafts, traveling and drawing. Survivors include her daughter, Emily Rae of Aurora, Colorado; a brother, Charles Jacobs of Lee's Summit, Missouri and a sister, Marcia Roberts of Grandview, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Margaret Jacobs. Marilyn's wishes were to have no services at this time. Moser Funeral Service in Evans is in charge of arrangements.
