Marjorie “Marge” Ann Hodgson, 83, of Greeley, passed away Friday, November 24, 2017 in Greeley.
Marge was born March 2, 1934 in Emporia, Kansas to Oren and Ethel (Kauffman) Rock. She moved to Boulder, Colorado with her parents and graduated high school in 1951.
She married Warren L. Hodgson, also of Boulder, that same year. They raised their three children in Idaho Springs, moving there in 1956. Marge moved to Greeley, residing at Meadowview Assisted Living in 2014.
She had an avid interest in collectables including glass animals, glassware, salt and pepper shakers, dolls and beautiful jewelry.
Marge is survived by two sons, Randy Hodgson and wife Susie of Walden, CO, Rock Hodgson and wife Katie of Eaton, CO; her six grandchildren, Brandon Hodgson, Scott Hodgson and wife Catherine, Laura Hodgson, Lauren Hodgson, Reed Hodgson and Alexia Hodgson; along with two great-grandchildren, River and Talon Hodgson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren; her parents; brother, Clifford Rock; sister, Lillian Brewer; son, Richard A. Hodgson; and granddaughter, Jennifer L. Hodgson.
At Marge’s request, a private family memorial will be held.
