Mark Miller, 55, of Evans peacefully passed away after a 2-year battle with complications from Diabetes on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at NCMC Hospice surrounded by his loving family.
Mark was born June 26, 1961 in Colorado Springs to Charles and Beverly Miller. He was one of four fabulous children.
Mark married his soulmate Paula Irene Rey on May 19, 1984 in Santa Barbara, CA. They met through Newlight Singers and made their home in Greeley, CO with their two awesome boys, Jerel and Gavin.
Mark surprisingly graduated from Coronado High School, Colorado Springs in 1979 even after all the pranks he pulled. He graduated with a Bachelors in Music Education from UNC, Greeley and went on to be the Band Director at Longmont HS. After kicking thyroid cancer, he changed careers in 1995 going to work for HP. He most recently co-owned Crepes N Creams with his wife Paula where, in his opinion, the best crepes and ice cream in the land were prepared with love.
Mark, an avid Bronco fan, L-O-V-E-D his friends and family and always said his home was open to any of them who would come for a visit. He LIVED for teasing, secret excursions, hunting and fishing, working with computers, traveling with the band, whistling like a Meadow Lark, watching his boys play football and perform music, and bringing flowers home to his wife.
Mark attended Eaton Free and later Christ Community with his family, he loved church and all those who attended, he always had a smile or a joke ready for them!
Mark was preceded in death by his father Charles Miller of Colorado Springs earlier on the same day.
Mark is survived by his wife Paula Miller and their children Jerel (Liz) of Portland, OR; and Gavin Miller (girlfriend Melanie) of Fort Collins, CO along with his Mother, Beverly Miller of Colorado Springs, brother Jim (Ruth) Miller of Garden Valley, CA along with their children Rachel, Andria, Brian, and Jessica (Miguel); sister Jolene (Aaron) Butler of Colorado Springs: and sister Carlene (Phil) Wehrli of Phoenix, AZ along with their children, Matt and Mitch.
Mark will be missed dearly by his family and friends. His spirit and deep faith will live on through all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Christ Community in Greeley, CO.
