Mark Andrew Scott, of Greeley, was called home by the Lord, to live with Him at the early age of 25.

Mark was born January 12, 1991 in Denver, Colorado to Gregory Michael Raymond and Jennifer S. Scott. Mark lived his short life touching many lives along the way. He was a unique person who left an impression on everyone he knew even if for a short time. Mark always marched to the beat of his own drum. He triumphed through many challenges, but his biggest fight he fought was his addiction to heroin and on December 14, 2016 lost the battle to it.

Mark was a kind man with a gentle soul and loved kids and animals. He will be greatly missed by his many cousins, friends, and family and even his adoring dog, Rukia. His untimely death has given his mother the fuel for her desire to get heroin addicts the resources they need so Mark’s death is not forgotten. Jennifer has vowed to change that. She knows if Mark can succumb to the disease, so can others and she doesn’t want Mark’s death to be just another lost to heroin. If she can help save the lives of other children, then Mark’s memory will live on.

Survivors include his mother, Jennifer Scott, his father, Gregory Raymond, co-parent, Dawn Kinzer, a brother, Canaan Babel, grandparents, Arnold & Judy Scott, Eldon & Ann Staab, Uncles, Jeffrey Raymond, David (Heidi) Scott, & Robert Scott, and Aunts, Stephanie & Carrie Scott, and numerous cousins.

A visitation will be 4:00 -7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue, Evans, Colorado. Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2016 also at the funeral home.
