Mary Anne Jacobson 90, died September 18, 2011 at Bonell Good Samaritan Center, Greeley. Mary Anne was born in Leavenworth, Kansas. During WWII she served as a nurse in the Army, in both the European and Pacific theaters. After the war she moved to Denver and continued her career in nursing. In Greeley she worked at Weld County General Hospital, Fair Acres Manor and Bonell. In retirement she pursued studies in religious education. She married Clarence Jacobson in 1955. They had three sons and later divorced. Survivors are her sons Larry (Nancy Tandon), Falmouth, MA and Paul (Meg), Johnstown CO. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother and three sisters, son Karl and granddaughter Kadee Jacobson. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m., Monday, September 26, 2011 at Saint Peter Catholic Church. A rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m., with the Mass of the Christian Burial following at 10:30 a.m. Graveside services will immediately follow the Mass, at Linn Grove Cemetery.
