Mary Gomez was born on April 10, 1920 in Aspermont, Texas to Daniel and Nicholasa (Rodriguez) Vasquez.
She grew up in the Brighton – Ft. Lupton area, later to Evans.
She married Felix Gomez in 1946 and moved to the Windsor area where Mr. Gomez worked. She had Four sons, Danny and Joe of Greeley, Felix Jr. of Frederick and Paul of Los Angeles, CA and a daughter Susie Gomez of Greeley.
They moved to Greeley in 1969. Mr. Gomez preceded her in death in 2002.
A stay at home mother, she enjoyed working with her flowers and gardens. Always a loving and caring mother she will be missed by her family which includes 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Mary passed away at home with her family at her side on Monday, January 8, 2007.
A private service and celebration of her life will be held, with interment in the Linn Grove Cemetery.
