Obituary

Masako "Kay" Inoue Bain 69, of Greeley passed Wednesday evening on November 12th at McKee Medical Center in Loveland Colorado. She was born on June 7, 1939 in Kyoto-Fu, Japan to Minoru Inoue and Chie Yagi. Masako married Bert Martin Bain on March 31, 1966 in Tokyo, Japan. She is preceded in death by her husband Bert, "Marty" Bain and her parents Minoru Inoue and Chie Yagi. Masako was a homemaker and spent much of her time practicing her Buddhist faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and especially entertaining her guests with her native cooking. She was passionate about raising money for youth sports expanding to Yokohama, Japan and Greeley, Colorado where she was instrumental in helping youth athletic programs buy new uniforms and equipment. Survivors include two sons, Travis Walker Bain and his wife Angela of Loveland and Tyler Wesley Bain of San Francisco, California; two grandchildren, Whitney and Jordan Bain, both of Loveland; sister in-laws Lois Ann Thompson and Lola Jo Lauck, both of Greeley; brother in-law Charles Francis Bain of Las Vegas, Nevada. A memorial service to celebrate Masako's life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 22, 2008, at Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S 11th Avenue, in Evans, Colorado.
