Matthew Ron Guerrero, 25 of Aurora, formerly of Greeley died on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 near Mead, Colorado as a result of an automobile accident. He was born on August 13, 1983 in Greeley to Ronald Wesley Guerrero and Sue Lynn Martinez. Matthew lived in Greeley for most of his life and he attended Greeley Central High School and earned his G.E.D. from Aims Community College. After high school he went on to work for his stepfather at Nabors Drilling in Greeley. He later went on to work as the Transportation Coordinator for Mountain City Meat in Denver. Matthew was a member of the Victory Outreach Church in Greeley and he loved fishing, being outdoors, riding dirt bikes and his first car was a 1969 Camaro. Matt loved his Grandma Diane's chocolate cake. He loved fishing with and spending time with his son little Matt. Matt loved all types of food but enjoyed Sushi the most. His smile and laughter will be missed but never forgotten. Survivors include his son, Matthew Ron Guerrero Jr. and mother of his son, Vanessa (Delgado) Clark both of Ogallala, Nebraska; his father and step mother, Ron and Margie Guerrero of Greeley; his mother and step father, Sue Lynn and Ruperto Lopez Jr of Greeley; his grandparents, Frank Gilbert and Maria Diana Guerrero of Greeley and Richard Albert Martinez of Denver; his great grandparents, Albert and Alberta Martinez of Brighton; 3 sisters, Misty Jean Lopez of Denver, Leah Michelle Guerrero and Rachel Lynette Guerrero both of Greeley; 3 brothers, Justin Paul Lopez-Guerrero of Longmont, Salvador Lee Lopez and Zachery Ryan Lopez both of Greeley; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins and his girlfriend Jessica Gomez of Greeley. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Jessie Gonzalez and great grandparents, John & Jessie Silva, Frank and Maria Guerrero and John and Estrella Bedan. A funeral service to celebrate Matthew's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at the Victory Outreach Church (2626 11th Avenue - behind the Ace Hardware) in Greeley. Interment will follow at the Linn Grove Cemetery. A prayer and celebration service will be held on Monday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the Victory Outreach Church.
