Michael E. "Mike" Kerbs, 59 of Johnstown, died on Monday, June 8, 2009 at his home. He was born on June 5, 1950 in Ft. Collins to Eddie and Mildred (Medford) Kerbs. Survivors include his wife, Pat Kerbs of Johnstown; his daughter and her husband, Michelle and Robert VanDoren of Greeley; 3 grandchildren, Cody, Alyssa and Bryley VanDoren of Greeley; 2 sisters and their husbands, Patty and Harold Schwalm of Greeley and Debbie and John Aragon of Steamboat Springs; a brother and his wife, Tim Kerbs and June Medford; 1 niece, 4 nephews and his best friends Dan Quintana and Ron Hays. He is preceded in death by his parents. A memorial gathering and pot luck meal will be held from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2009 at the Johnstown American Legion.
