Michael Patrick Murphy, 34 of Ft. Lupton, Colorado died on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at his home. He was born on May 8, 1975 in Fremont, California to Joseph Patrick and Cindy (Peppin) Murphy. Michael married Denae Morgan in Reno, Nevada on April 6, 2001. He has lived in Ft. Lupton for the past 7 months and prior to living here he lived in Arizona, California and Texas. His greatest joy was his family and his music. He loved to play and his ability was legendary. Survivors include his daughters, Breanna Burns of Washington and Chantelle Morgan of San Antonio, Texas; his son, Matthew Murphy of Chandler, Arizona; his wife, Denae Murphy of San Marcos, Texas; his parents, Cindy Peppin of Chandler, Arizona and Patrick Murphy of Ft. Lupton, Colorado; his grandmother, Aileen Peppin of Tucson, Arizona; his sister and her husband, Kristy and Larry Alderson of California; his aunts, Kelley Fanuef of Avondale, Arizona, Pam Robertson of Tempe, Arizona, Debbie Belka of Washington and Erin Hegland and husband Bill of Fremont, California and an uncle, Brian Murphy of California; his niece, Stephanie Alderson of Chandler, Arizona and his sister in law, Norma Llamaz of San Marcos, Texas. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Glenn Peppin and Joseph and June Murphy. Graveside services to celebrate Michael's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2009 at the Johnstown Cemetery in Johnstown, Colorado.
