Nadine Madrid 61, of Greeley, Colorado Passed away September 30, 2021, at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Colorado.
She was born February 24, 1960. She lived in Greeley most her life, moved to California in 1979 then moved back in 1996. She graduated Greeley Central and graduated from Cosmetology school. She worked at Cost Cutters for 26 years. She's been cutting hair for over 4 decades. She took joy in touching people's lives through her profession and helping anyone that she could.
She loved to spend time with family and friends especially over a good meal. Nadine had been an active volunteer with Christ Community Church from working the coffee cart to watching littles. She loved hosting 4th of July parade parties with her famous green chile. Her favorite things to do were shopping, watching T.V. the beach, going to the movies and laughing. She was never one to be without a smile and a twinkle in her eyes. Her and her daughter were known as the "Gilmore Girls" of Greeley.
She is preceded in death her parents Mary "Cruz" Madrid, Anthony David Madrid her brother Anthony Madrid and nephew James Salazar. Nadine is survived by her daughters Sable Madrid and Isabella Annalicia Mary Madrid, her brothers David Madrid, Daniel Madrid, and her sisters Adeline Salazar, and Debbie Madrid. She is survived by many aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews.
Please join us for the Viewing and service with the reception to follow on Thursday, October 7th, 2021. Viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Crist Community Church, 1301 15th Street in Greeley. The service will begin at 11:00 a.m. and reception to follow the service. Everything will be held at Christ Community Church, and it will be a potluck.
