Nancy J. Barr, 78, of Fort Lupton passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Ashley Manor in Evans, Colorado.
She was born May 16, 1939 to Carl and Ruth (Otke) Passmore in St. Louis, Missouri. Nancy lived most of her life in Fort Lupton, Colorado where she graduated from high school in 1956. She worked as a rural mail carrier for over 30 years. She enjoyed oil painting and sewing.
She is survived by a son, David (Christine) Barr of North Carolina; a daughter Rebecca Barr of Fort Lupton; a sister Carlene Martel of Laramie, Wyoming; and 3 grandchildren, Carl, Adam, and Evan Barr.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Carl & Ruth Passmore, and an older sister, Ruth Haberkon.
Private family services will be scheduled at a later date.
