Nancy Kay (Sillin) Brown, 76, of Greeley, Colorado passed away May 13, 2024, at her home with family by her side.
She was born January 18, 1948, to Virgil and Marian (LeRoy) Sillin in Great Bend, Kansas. She grew up in Sterling, Kansas and graduated from Sterling High School, and Sterling College, and received her floral certification from Denver Wholesale Florists Company / Cliff Mann Floral School. Nancy met the love of her life Bruce Lee Brown and were married in Thornton, Colorado on September 15, 1973. They resided in Thornton, Colorado until settling in Greeley, Colorado in December of 1979.
Aside from being a very talented florist, Nancy was employed with Old America and the Moose Lodge, both out of Greeley, Colorado. Her treasured past times were spending time with family and friends, camping, and loving her dogs. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband Bruce; her son Shad Michael (Rachel) Brown of Thornton; sisters Maryann (Steve) Bundy of Manhattan, KS; Lana Sillin and sister-in-law Chris Sillin both of Hutchinson, KS; one grandson Mason Brown, nephew Mac Brothers, and niece Katie Sillin.
She was preceded by her parents Virgil and Marian Sillin, and her brothers David and Douglas Sillin.
A graveside inurnment will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 24, 2024, at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
