Nikki Lynn Fix, Age 21 of Eaton passed away Sunday, September 16, 2007. Nikki was born on June 27th, 1986 in Sterling, Colorado to Chad and Lynn (Rose) Fix. Nikki grew up in Eaton, where she attended Eaton schools and graduated from Eaton High School with honors in 2005. She was the Eaton High Homecoming Queen in 2004. Nikki attended the University Of Northern Colorado and Aims Community College pursuing a career as a surgical technician. She worked at Greeley Medical Clinic as an administrative assistant. She enjoyed playing the piano, dancing, cooking, water tubing, cross stitching, reading, and card playing. Nikki was a daughter, a sister, a friend and an inspiration to many. She had a smile worth a million words, and would change a bad day to good one. She had a spirit and fight about her that kept her and those around her going through all her ups and downs of life. Nikki was diagnosed with Acute Lymphositic Leukemia in February 2001 and overcame her battle in May of 2003. She never gave up through her hard times of chemotherapy, surgeries and the struggles that life brought about. Nikki was a fighter and a strong loving woman that will never be forgotten. Through good and bad she fought with a smile on her face and an open heart. Her bright loving smile will forever be remembered and will always be an inspiration to all. Nikki leaves behind her parents Chad and Lynn (Rose) Fix of Eaton; one brother Casey and wife Ariel; two sisters Rachel and Shayla; and four nephews Evan, Conner, Cayden, and Cooper all of Eaton; her grandparents Clinton and Emma Rose of Sterling, and Howard and Barbra Fix of Haxtun; one great grandmother Irene Hendon of Sterling and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. A funeral service to celebrate Nikki's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the Greeley Wesleyan Church, 3600 W. 22nd Street. Cremation. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Friday at the church. A private family visitation will be held on Thursday at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel.
