Norma J. Stroh, 91, of Evans, Colorado, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at her home.
She was born August 20, 1926 to Boyd & Viola (Schoppe) Nevill in Mansfield, South Dakota. On June 8, 1947, she married Allen E. Stroh at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
Norma was a homemaker who did a variety of jobs which allowed her to remain at home. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and active in the Evans Senior Center. She was an avid volunteer and had over 2000 volunteer hours. She enjoyed sewing and knitting and knitted hundreds of baby hats and prayer shawls for the hospital.
Survivors include her son, Mark Stroh; daughters, Betty Koolhof and Eileen (George) Stafford; a brother, Don (Rita) Nevill; a sister-in-law, Lois Nevill; a brother-in-law, Walt (Wilma) Stroh; 4 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Stroh; her parents; an infant daughter, Nancy Jean Stroh; a son-in-law, Dennis Koolhof; and a brother, Carol Nevill.
A celebration of Norma’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 8, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3000 35th Avenue in Greeley.
