Norma Irene Chittenden Yocom, 92 of Kersey entered into eternal life on September 8, 2015 at Bonell Good Samaritan Center. Another Angel went home to God and her Heavenly family.
Norma was born December 14, 1922 to Albert & Mary Lou (Hunt) Crawford in Elwood, Nebraska. Norma spent her life in Nebraska where she met James (Jim) Chittenden. They married in December 1951 and together they ran a dairy farm north of Lexington, Nebraska.
Norma was a housewife and helped Jim in their business of selling Medina Soil Activator and Running The Horse Around Stables in Kersey, Colorado. Norma loved to be busy and loved being outside growing tomato plants and trees. Her real love was God and her family.
Norma is survived by a daughter; Robin (Bill) Cannon, grandchildren; Justin Chittenden, Ellie, Whitney, Lisa, and Jerehmie Cannon, several nephews and nieces.
She is preceded by her parents Albert & Mary Lou (Hunt) Crawford, 3 brothers, and her first husband Jim Chittenden.
A celebration of Norma’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2015 at the Kersey Community Church, 26221 CR 53 in Kersey.
