Patricia “Pat” K. Butler, 66, of Eaton, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado.
She was born August 5, 1950 to William John & Glenna Irene (Woods) Butler in Cucamonga, California. Pat spent time in Indiana, California, and Arizona, before setting in Colorado in 2014. She loved animals, especially horses and dogs and was one of the first females to compete as a jockey. She worked at the Hills Arena in Nathrop, Colorado working with the animals she loved, and as a guard in a corrections facility. Pat was a loving mother to her two sons and especially loved spending time with the grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons. Michael (Rita) Butler of Eaton, Colorado, Jason (Ileena) Butler of North Platte, Nebraska, her sisters, Irene Butler of Indiana and Penny (Don) Hinds also of Indiana and her grandchildren; Faith, Jaclynn, Gage, Kristopher, Ryan and Destinee Butler.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Glenna Butler and a brother, William Butler.
A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue, Evans, Colorado 80620.
