Patricia Ann "Pat" Keener, 70 of LaSalle died on October 2, 2009 at her home surrounded by her family.
Pat was born on June 22, 1939 in Fort Collins, Colorado to Jacob and Pauline (Buderus) Martin. She grew up on the family farms, attending schools in Timnath and LaPorte. She graduated from Cache la Poudre in 1958.
She married Lowell Dan Keener in Denver in April 1959. They divorced in 1973.
Pat worked many years in the food and entertainment industry. She worked for H.P. from 1979 to 1997 when she retired and then owned and operated the Wagon Wheel in LaSalle. She then worked for Walmart as a greeter until her illness kept her from working. Pat enjoyed many things and her joy in life was her family and her Yorkie "Mandie".
Survivors: Daughters, Linda D. Keener and Lynn D. Whitehead; brothers, Marvin L. Martin and Jack D. Martin; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and special friend, Lyle "Rowdiy" Woods. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Pauline Martin.
A memorial service to celebrate Pat's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2009 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Greeley.
