Patricia “Patty” Blackwell, 52, of Greeley passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019 at the North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.

She was born October 31, 1966 to Jon & Terry (Healy) Blackwell in Denver, Colorado. She was a 1985 graduate of Eaton High School and went on to get her Associate Degree from Pueblo Community College. She opened Patty’s Place soon after gaining her degree. Patty moved to Kersey in 2004 and managed the Kersey Inn. She later opened Patty’s Pets, a dog grooming business. Patty was a loving person and a caregiver to many.

She is survived by her parents, Jon Blackwell & Terry Hayen, sons, Kameron & Bryson Sanchez, a daughter, Chacee Sanchez, a brother, Randy Blackwell, and sisters, Kaydee Blackwell and Brooke Brown.

A celebration of Patty’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 16, 2019 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans, Colorado.
