Paula A. Balinski, 70, of Estes Park passed away Friday, December 27, 2013 at the Longmont United Hospital. She was born January 18, 1943 to Paul and Dorothy (Mayo) Trumphour in Akron, Ohio. Paula graduated from Buchtel High School in Akron in 1961. On June 23, 1962, she married Terry Balinski at the St. Vincent's Catholic Church in Akron. She lived in Akron for 33 years. The couple moved to Estes Park in 1985. Paula was a hard working woman who worked for the Longmont Times Call for 20 years before retiring in 2003. She possessed a great inner strength and was a loving & devoted wife. Paula was a member of Our Lady of the Mountain Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Terry Balinski of Estes Park, a son, Terry Balinski & Inga McIntyre of Johnstown, a daughter, Gail Nadius of Longmont, a sister and her husband Carol & Renee Balinski of Estes Park, and a granddaughter, Whitney Miflin of Cheyenne, Wyoming. She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Dorothy Trumphour and a brother, Sterling Trumphour. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 2nd at Mark's Funeral Service Chapel, 9293 Eastman Park Drive in Windsor, Colorado. The Rosary will be recited beginning at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 3rd followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 1250 7th Street in Windsor.
