Perry Adkins 46, of Greeley died on Friday, March 25, 2011 at University Hospital in Aurora.
He was born on January 14, 1965 to Leon F. and Emily J. (Larrabee) Adkins in Kankakee, Illinois. He was a graduate of Northglenn High School in Denver, Colorado. He then went on to graduate from Parks School of Welding and of MMI in Phoenix, Arizona.
On July 19, 1985 Perry married Terri A. Finkenbinder in Greeley, Colorado. They resided in Albuquerque from 1986- 2003, then in Phoenix, Arizona from 2003-2010. They have lived in Evans since October of 2010.
Mr. Adkins worked for Ride Now Power Sports as the eBay internet sales representative. He was a member of Hope Centre Foursquare Church in Greeley. His hobbies included restoring muscle cars and attending NHRA and NASCAR races.
Survivors include his wife, Terri Adkins, his daughters, Kendra (Garrett) Brock, Cassie Adkins and Wendy Adkins all of Evans, his parents, Leon and Emily Adkins of Evans, his sister and husband, Pamela & Ken Neet of Greeley, a niece, Sara Neet; a nephew, Jeff (Kait) Neet and 3 month old grandson, Weston Brock.
Perry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cleve & Amy Adkins and Charles & Ada Larrabee.
A funeral service to celebrate Perry's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Hope Centre Foursquare Church, 4754 W. 31st Street in Greeley. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans. Interment Estes Valley Memorial Gardens in Estes Park, Colorado.
