Peter “Sonny” Leo Dinkel, Jr., 68, of Evans died on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 unexpectedly at his home.
He was born November 19, 1949 to Peter & Laura (Layton) Dinkel, Sr. in Greeley, Colorado. On June 5, 1983, he married Dorothy Bartlett in Eaton, Colorado. He drove truck for Shupe Bros, Stienbecker, DSCO, Monfort, and Werner Transportation.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Dinkel; sons, Cory Olson, Mike Dinkel, Jason Dinkel, Josh Dinkel and stepson, Mike Webb; a daughter, Shannon Russel; sisters, Mary Drake, Geneva Babbitt, and Alice Leonard; 19 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
No services will be held.
