Phillip Brooks of Barnesville died on Sunday February 22, 2009 at the Hospice Unit in Greeley.
Phil was born on December 24, 1942 in Arvada, Colorado. He farmed near Kersey and later drove for Monfort, then owned and operated Brooks Transportation until his retirement in 2005.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Brooks; sons, Phillip and John Brooks; grandchildren Shane and Shannon Brooks; brothers; Delbert and Gene Brooks.
Graveside services will be held 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Briggsdale Cemetery. Memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Sherwood Park Baptist Church in Greeley.
