Raymond “Keith” Snyder, 94, of Greeley, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015 in Greeley.
Keith was born November 8, 1920, in Greeley to Oscar Raymond and Margaret R. (Waters) Snyder. He graduated from Greeley High School and entered the United States Army Air Force and served as a Sergeant during WWII before being honorably discharged.
He was united in marriage to Joyce D. Bolin on May 9, 1944. He worked for Roy L. Smith Battery and Electric and UNC Physical Plant.
He was a bass player with Hope Center Church and guitar player with various western dance bands. He also enjoyed flower gardening.
He is survived by his son, Duane Keith Snyder of Greeley; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; daughter, Victoria Snyder; brothers, Loren and Donnie Snyder; and grandson, Aaron Snyder.
Visitation will be 1:00 - 3:00 p.m Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel. Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 2, 2015 at Journey Christian Church, 4654 W. 31st St., Greeley. Interment following at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions to Gentiva Hospice or the hospice of choice.
