Rebecca Serrano Perez, 65 of Greeley died on Sunday, September 6, 2009 at the Memorial Herman S.E. Hospital in Houston, Texas.
She was born on June 9, 1944 in Guanajuato, Mexico to German and Dionisia Armenta.
Rebecca married Erasmo Serrano in Guanajuato on October 8, 1964. She has lived in Greeley since 1990. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening and traveling.
Survivors include her sons, Javier, Jose Juan, and Oscar Serrano; her daughters, Blanca Serrano and Martha Arredondo; 11 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; her brothers, German, Alfredo and Roberto Perez and a sister, Ana Garcia. She is preceded in death by her husband Erasmo Serrano.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 noon on Friday, September 11, 2009 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 1311 3rd Street. Interment Linn Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of Rosary at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans.
