Renee Marie Benavides, 36, of Greeley, Colorado passed away December 8, 2022. She was born December 2, 1986, to Teresa (Ortiz) Martinez and Mario Benavides in Fort Morgan, Colorado.

After graduation, Renee went on to earn her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. Over the years she was employed with Kinder Care, Adventure Day Care and Walmart. She loved working with and being around kids and was a huge football fan, especially supporting her team the Dallas Cowboys. Renee was very creative and was always the type to go all out on birthdays and special occasions.

She is survived by parents, Mario Benavides of Lakewood, Colorado, Teresa Martinez of Gypsum, Colorado, her children, Gabrial Benavides, Shastina Benavides and Nadia Villalobos, all of Greeley, Colorado, her brother Jimmy (Crystal) Benavides and their children, Aniah, Isaiah and Isan all of Dallas Texas, her sisters Desiree Benavides and her children, Aeed and Nevaeh Lara all of Gypsum, Colorado, Melissa Benavides of Fort Morgan, Colorado and her children Sean Marquez of Gypsum, Colorado and Petricia Urias (Julio Garcia) and their daughter Emory Garcia of Fort Morgan, Colorado.

She is preceded by her grandpa Amado Ortiz, Sandy Benavides and Frank Espinosa.

A Visitation will be 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Rosary beginning at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, December 17, 2022 at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 11th Avenue in Evans, Colorado.
