Reuben Derr, 90, of Greeley, died on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at the Kenton Manor Nursing Home in Greeley.
He was born on July 9, 1915 in Ft. Collins to Henry and Eva K.(Grauberger) Derr.
Reuben lived in Greeley for most of his life. He worked for the city of Greeley for 32 years retiring in 1986. He later owned and operated Rubes Custom Sweeping in Greeley. He enjoyed racing stock cars and he raced on a track East of Greeley.
Survivors include a son and his wife, Donald L. and Jacky Derr of Greeley; a brother, Elmer Derr of Brighton; 8 grandchildren and longtime companion, Roslean Miller Derr of Greeley.
A graveside memorial service to celebrate Reuben's will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the Linn Grove Cemetery. Cremation.
