Richard "Dick" Duvall, 78 of Greeley, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 4, 2013. He was born on July 17, 1934 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Lester and Nellie (Grim) Duvall. Dick attended Fort Morgan High School and later graduated from Kemper Military School in Boonville, Missouri in 1952. He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged on November 27, 1957. Mr. Duvall married Beverly Trupp on February 2, 1958 in Greeley. He was a member of the Johnstown United Methodist Church and a life member of both the Fort Morgan V.F.W. and the Fort Morgan Elks Club. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Duvall of Greeley; 2 daughters and their husbands, Ann and Owen Pejsa and Amy and Jake Mayer; a son and his wife, Van and Christy Duvall; 5 granddaughters and a brother and his wife, Jack and Barbara Duvall. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Nellie Duvall; an infant son, Keven Duvall and an infant brother, Benny Duvall. A funeral service to celebrate Dick's life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at the United Methodist Church of Johnstown(108 King Avenue). Interment will follow in the Johnstown Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to the United Methodist Church of Johnstown or to Hospice & Palliative Care of Northern Colorado.
