Richard (Rick) Duane Shannon, 57 of Evans, Colorado died on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, CO. Rick was born on July 7, 1963 in Greeley, CO to Verda (Root) Andrews and Greg L. Shannon.

Tribute: Rick married Jill Shannon on July 12, 1986 in San Diego, California. He served in the United States Navy as AZ (Aviation Administrationman) 2nd Class Petty Officer for 17 years. Rick was an avid NASCAR Fan. Rick was very artistic, he loved to draw and build model cars. He enjoyed spending time with his family fixing and painting automobiles. Rick had a big heart. He always put his friends and family above all. As an organ donor he will continue to give of himself.

Survivors: Mother Verda (Bob) Andrews; Father, Greg (Lisa) Shannon; Brothers, Dean (Denise) Shannon, Terry (Denice) Morrow, Eddie Andrews and Ryan and Mike Shannon; 2 sisters, Yvonne (John) Baker and Christa Shannon; 2 sons, Michael Collins and Jamie (Debbie) Johnson both of California; Several nieces and nephews including Kaylee, Kyndall and Joshua Shannon, Dwight, Desiree, Tierra and Treyson Morrow, Dante Andrews; and girlfriend, Tamara Sisson.

He is preceded by his wife Jill Shannon of New York, and his son, Jonathan Austin Schoenfeld of Texas.

A celebration of life service to be held Saturday November 7th at 10:00am at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 S. 11th Avenue in Evans
