Robert John Armstrong, 73, of Greeley passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2014 in Loveland.

Robert was born June 14, 1941 to John M and Ella (Domreis) Armstrong in Langdon, South Dakota. In 1961, he married Evelyn Moore in Loveland. He resided in Loveland from 1958-1970 then moved to Greeley in 1970 where he resided until his death.

Robert worked for Yellow Freight Systems, Northwest Freight, Flatiron Paving and Ringsby United as a truck driver.

Robert enjyed hunting and camping with his family; he also enjoyed driving a truck for a living and found that, over the years, that was the best way to provide for his family. He always tried to work for the best companies that paid him the best so that his wife didn’t have to work and his family could have a good life style.

He is survived by his ex-wife Evelyn Armstrong, his son, Jeffrey L. Armstrong, his daughters, Amanda Gonzales, and Jody Bocanegra, his sisters, Jackie Armstrong, Beverly Armstrong, and Judith Armstrong, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ella Armstrong and a sister, Audrey.
