Robert H. "Bob" Mondragon, 54 of Greeley, passed away on July 27, 2014 at the Hospice & Palliative Care of Northern Colorado Inpatient Unit. Bob was born on December 15, 1959 in Mora, NM to Persalino and Rosila Martinez and adopted and raised by Leandro and Mary Mondragon. Bob lived in Mora and Albuquerque most of his life, before moving to Greeley 6 years ago. Bob loved to harass everyone he came into contact with but only to make them laugh. His unfiltered personality is what made him the person he was. His love for his family, friends and his church family were unending. He loved holding babies at church and love being around the youth at Waypoints Faith Community. Bob is survived by his fiancé Carrie Durr, sister Anna Alvarado (Felix) of Greeley, CO, brothers Johnny Mondragon (Frances) of Albuquerque NM, Ray Martinez (Stellia), Robert Martinez (Debbie), Ralph Martinez, all of Greeley CO. His step-daughter Jessica (Bryce) Mullen of Memphis TX, his granddaughter Lauren, Michael Durr, plus several aunts, uncles and cousins along with over 50 nieces and nephews. A special love to Johnny, Frankie and Georgette Mondragon, Loretta, Emily, Sandra and Tanya Vigil, Gene and Reggie Pacheco, Fred Montez, god-daughter Katrina Lucero, Larisa and Laticia Vigil, all of Albuquerque. God-son Roger Gonzales, of Mora NM. Roberto and Rohanna Roma, John Trujillo, Becky Meza, Dorthy Meza, my favorite Cathy Trujillo, Paul and Cissy Arguello - all of Greeley, CO. Darlene Encinias, my other fav (sorry Cat).Love to Chris Ayers, Jerry Slager, Juan Lopez, Todd and Lindy Welch, Alvin Vasquez, Anna Lopez, Santiago Shirtz, Freddie and Linda Cordova, James Dannunzio, John and Theresa Cordova, Justin and Lindsey Kleinsorge, Keenen Rodriquez, Cheryl Zeeman, Juanita Garcia, Steve and Hilldora Lavallie, Tiffany Sully and so many more. Bob is preceeded in death by his wife JoAnn, his parents and numerous family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday August 4th at Zoes at 10 am (715 10th St, Greeley, CO 80631).
