Robert James “Bob” White, of Windsor, lost his battle with bone marrow cancer on February 11, 2019. He was 66 years old.
Bob grew up in Powell, Wyoming with his father, James, his mother, Helen and his three brothers, Bill, Johnnie, and Don. When Bob was 12 years old, the family moved to Colorado where he graduated from Highland High School. He was drafted into the army in 1971 where he served 2 years in Germany as a medic. He came back home to Greeley where he worked at Weld County General as a Phlebotomist which helped put him through school at Aims and UNC. Bob was hired to work for the U. S. Postal Service in 1997. He enjoyed working there very much. He was an avid golfer and member at the Eaton Country Club since 1976. Everyone loved Bob and his warm personality.
He is survived by his wife, Terri, brother, Johnnie (Kathy), sister-in-law, Joyce White, daughters, Nicole (Jeff) Sherwood, Laurie (Ash) Brannan, and three grandchildren, Alexis, Cruz, and Isabelle.
He was preceded by his parents, James & Helen White and two brothers, Bill & Don White.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church, 503 Walnut Street in Windsor.
