Obituary

Robert Reber "Bob" Humphrey, 76, of Windsor, Colorado passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland. He was born April 28, 1936 to Walter and Marie (Berner) Humphrey in Bay City, Michigan. Bob graduated from the University of Kalamazoo in Michigan. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany where he met his future wife, Hannelore Lisa Ehrenreich. They were married 51 years. Bob and Hannelore lived in Sunland-Tujunga, in Los Angeles County, California; Marrietta, Georgia; and Oxnard, California before they moved to Severance, Colorado in 2009. Bob worked for Lockheed Martin Aircraft Corp. from 1961 until his retirement in 1997. As a logistics engineer and program director he played a key role in the successful role out of numerous aircraft including the F-117 Nighthawk and F-22 Raptor. He attended the Evangelical Free Church of Eaton since 2009 and was a member of the Gideon Society. He also held Bible studies for inmates at the county jail in Ventura, California as well as the Weld County Jail in Greeley. Bob is survived by his wife, Hannelore Lisa Humphrey; a son and his wife, Stephen & Christine Humphrey of Windsor; daughters and their husbands, Karen & Rod Yonkers of Simi Valley, California and Carla & Curt Tueffert of Houston, Texas; a brother and his wife, Wayne & Rosie Humphrey, of Toledo, Ohio; 2 sisters and their husbands, Marilyn & Mike Storrs, of Shelby Township, Michigan, and Inez & Rod Guinup, of Lakeland, Florida and 7 grandchildren, Jacob, Kyle, and Aimee Tueffert; Adam, Andrew and Aaron Yonkers; and David Humphrey. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter & Marie Humphrey and a brother, Bud (Walter) Humphrey. A funeral service to celebrate Bob's life will be held 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 11, 2013 at the Evangelical Free Church of Eaton, 1325 3rd Street. Visitation will be held from Noon until the time of service on Monday at the church. Interment will be at the Eaton Cemetery following the service.
