Romeo Alvarez, 9, of Greeley, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 11, 2023.

He was born June 24, 2013, in Fort Morgan, Colorado to Andres & Maria del Carmen (Bocanegra Meza) Alvarez.

Our sweet Romeo was a light in this world. He brought joy and laughter to every person he encountered. His family meant the world to him. It brought him so much joy to spend time with them. He loved going on adventures with all his cousins. He loved drawing and he was so, so good at it. He loved recording videos for his family about his daily activities whether it was cooking a special recipe, science experiment, running around the house, video games, or his cool toys, he kept us informed and entertained. We'll miss his silly faces, and comedic attitude. Our hearts break for this great loss but we want Romeo to be remembered always.

Romeo was survived by his parents, Carmen & Andres Alvarez, and his grandparents Juan & Lourdes Alvarez, and Marisela, Joe and Carmelo, his uncle's Jose Angel, Vicente, JD, and Fransico, aunt's Adriana, Cynthia, Herminia, Kimberly, Leslie, and Esmeralda, his cousins Oscarito, Damien, Jayden, Rayleen, Rosie, and Johan, and his fur babies who he loved so much Leo and Kai.

A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at the Moser Funeral Service Chapel, 3501 11th Avenue in Evans. Funeral Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2023, at The Adventure Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 4100 20th Street in Greeley. Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
