Ronald LeRoy “Blue” Pappenheim, 74, of Eaton, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015 at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.

Ronald was born in Eaton, March 8, 1941 to Henry and Lydia (Stencel) Pappenheim and has lived in the Eaton area all of his life. He was a 1960 graduate of Eaton High School. He enjoyed running his cow/calf operation and farming. He loved playing cards and golf, and looked forward to his annual golf trip in Mesquite, Nevada. He enjoyed watching sports, especially his grandchildren’s games. On May 22, 1965 he married Betty J. Kutcher in Greeley.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Pappenheim of Eaton, his son, Jeff Pappenheim of Eaton, his daughters; Kelly & husband John Brandly of Eaton, Jacque & husband Kent Aenchbacher of Round Rock, Texas, and Sandy & husband Rob Roberts of Bailey, Colorado,a brother, Richard & his wife Bev Pappenheim of Yuma,Colorado, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Lydia Pappenheim.

A Celebration of Ronald’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Eaton Country Club, 37661 CR 39, in Eaton.
